Nordbo shifts his weight to his right leg and leans against the bus stop. Hopefully the bus will be there before the FAA will. The explanation will be Google's problem. Nordbo sips a bit of tea. Nice and hot. Pretty decent, too.
The bus turns onto the street a fair bit away. Nordbo digs out his wallet and finds sufficient change to at least get on the bus. "I need to get to Seattle" Nordbo says as he gets on the bus. "It'll be 3.50$ to the station. You can catch a bus from there." Nordbo gets in and climbs into the back seat. he sips some more tea as the bus' airspeed climbs. Good tea. A few minutes into the bus ride, just as Nordbo sips another mouthful of nice hot tea, the bus drives over a speed bump. The arm times momentum of Nordbo's position behind the rear axle results in completely proportional amounts of turbulence causing the tea to spill over and scold his face a little, softened a bit by his beard. "Grumblemuck. Not my day." The bus rolls into the station with Nordbo's face still dripping with tea. It'll be a bit of a drive to Boeing Field, probably with plenty of turbulence. |
